Govt targets 38 more KR1M outlets by year-end

KUALA LUMPUR: The Government is targeting 85 1Malaysia People's Shops (KR1M) to be operational nationwide by the end of the year.

Deputy Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism Minister Datuk Tan Lian Hoe said as of July 6 this year, 47 shops (KR1M) were operating throughout the country and fully managed by Syarikat Mydin Mohamed Holding Berhad (Mydin).
