Abdul Kadir quits Umno after 56 years

PETALING JAYA: Former Information Minister Tan Sri Abdul Kadir Sheikh Fadzir has quit Umno after 56 years in the party.

He said in a statement that he had sent a letter to Umno secretary-general Tengku Adnan Mansor to tell him that he was leaving the party effective yesterday.
