BNM cannot return frozen Bestino assets

PETALING JAYA: Bank Negara has clarified that it cannot return the frozen assets of gold investment scheme operator Bestino Golden House Sdn Bhd.

Bank Negara said the assets seized from the litigation-embroiled company amounting to RM24.2mil could not be released until the court proceedings were completed as they were being held as evidence.
