Bank Negara: Commemorative RM50 with logo is not special

GEORGE TOWN: Do not be fooled when someone tells you that a new RM50 bank note bearing the 50th anniversary logo can be traded in for more money. Bank Negara Malaysia says it’s all rumours.

“On Dec 21, 2007, a total of 50 million pieces of the new RM50 bank notes with the logo were produced to commemorate Malaysia’s 50th independence anniversary.
