GEORGE TOWN: The state government has appointed singer-actor Nicholas Teo as Penang's "green ambassador" to help it spread awareness on environmental issues.
The expenses incurred from the appointment of the Taiwan-based Malaysian artiste, who will serve as the ambassador for a year, will be entirely borne by private sponsors.
