Cops short-circuit transformer theft

IPOH: Three men who tried to steal a transformer ended up being caught by policemen near the Tekah Industrial Area in Simpang Pulai.

The suspects were ferrying the RM100,000 transformer in a lorry when a police team intercepted them at about 9am yesterday.
