Ex-newscaster dies of cancer

PETALING JAYA: Former newscaster Robert Lam died yesterday after being stricken with skin cancer.

Lam, 64, died at 5.15am at the University Malaya Medical Centre. His brother-in-law Robert Lau, 55, said Lam dedicated the last 10 years of his life to charitable and church work.
