Former Deputy IGP dies after long coma

KUALA LUMPUR: Former deputy inspector-general of police Mohd Sedek Ali, who fell into a coma following a road accident on Sept 1 last year, has died at the Kuala Lumpur Hospital. He was 60.

Bukit Aman public relations officer Supt Rasdi Ramli said Mohd Sedek, who had severe brain injury, died in the intensive care unit (ICU) of the Neurology Department at about 7.30am yesterday.
