Ong: Support for unity plan

PETALING JAYA: Twenty-seven of the 43-member MCA central committee have pledged in writing to support the greater unity plan, said party president Datuk Seri Ong Tee Keat.

Strong backing from the central committee, in turn, would put the party in good stead to win support from the public, particularly the Chinese community, he added.
