PUTRAJAYA: Helping rubber smallholders increase their production will be among the first tasks for the new Plantations Industries and Commodities Minister Tan Sri Bernard Dompok.
He said that although Malaysia had been a rubber producer for a long time, the current yield from smallholders was lower than Thailand.
