Anak Halal, Kala Malam lead race for local film awards

KUALA LUMPUR: Two films that are leading the race for this year’s Malaysia Film Festival awards are Anak Halal (with 12 nominations out of 20 categories) and Kala Malam Bulan Mengambang (11 nominations).

In third place is Shuhaimi Baba’s 1957 Hati Malaya with nine nominations.
