PETALING JAYA: The National Union of the Teaching Profession (NUTP) has presented a memorandum to the Education Ministry listing several issues concerning teachers, including creating new posts in schools, upgrading senior assistants and principals, and seniority.
NUTP secretary-general Lok Yim Pheng said the union wanted the ministry to create the posts of examination secretary and discipline head in schools.
