KUALA LUMPUR: The RM20,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of Nurin Jazlin Jazimin’s killer will stay, MCA Public Services and Complaint Department head Datuk Michael Chong said.

He added the department considered the case as on-going although an Indonesian woman has been detained by the police.

Chong said the department still wanted informers to supply it or the police with information that will lead to the arrest of those involved in Nurin Jazlin's murder.

“The department’s offer of a RM10,000 reward and another RM10,000 from a businessman is still open.

“The developer businessman, who will only identify himself as Datuk Yap, has confirmed that he also wants informers to be rewarded, which will help the police gain information and arrest the suspects involved in Nurin Jazlin’s murder and bring the case to closure,” he told reporters at the department’s office at Wisma MCA on Tuesday.

Chong urged those with information to call his assistants Ms Priya at 03-2161-5678 and Mohd Ubaydi Mohd Noh at 016-636-7333.

He said the department would distribute flyers to the public and the Malaysian Crime Prevention Foundation with contact numbers for them to call if they have any new information on the case.
