Four suspects released

Nurin murder suspects released

PETALING JAYA: The four men picked up to assist in the investigations into the murder of eight-year-old Nurin Jazlin Jaziman have been released.

The four aged between 27 and 35, who were detained with a woman when police raided a shoplot in Section 7, Shah Alam, on Thursday were released at about 5pm yesterday.

It is not immediately known if their release was unconditional or if they were on police bail pending investigations.

Police now have only one person in their custody – an Indonesian woman – who was detained on Saturday at a stall in Nilai town about 15km from the Seremban rest area, where a girl who resembled Nurin Jazlin was reportedly sighted on Sept 5.

Nurin Jazlin went missing after she went to a night market by herself near her house in Section 1, Wangsa Maju, in Setapak, on Aug 20.

Her body was found in a sports bag in Petaling Utama on Sept 17.
