KUALA LUMPUR: Vilification and accusations that Islam encourages violence are outright untruths, Yang di-Pertuan Agong Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin said yesterday.
In fact, the actions or reactions by a section of the Muslim ummah to defend the sanctity of Islam were due to the infringements of their rights as humans, he said.
