Move to revive printing blocks in batik design


KUALA LUMPUR: The use of traditional printing blocks to create designs on batik fabric will be revived to meet the growing worldwide demand. 

Yayasan Budi Penyayang Malaysia chief executive officer Leela Mohd Ali said using the brush to create designs was time-consuming, and it could no longer meet the global demands.
