KUALA LUMPUR: It was a star-studded event at the launch of the Batik Showcase 2006 here on Wednesday, with artistes and soccer celebrities striding in style with bright and creatively designed batik attire.
The event, organised by The Weld shopping centre, is a tribute to local fashion designers who have made immense contributions to the batik industry.
