KUCHING: Sarawak’s Dayak communities put on a vibrant and colourful display of their rich cultural heritage at the national-level Gawai Dayak Open House at the amphitheatre here last night.
With the Yang di-Pertuan Agong Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin Syed Putra Jamalullail and Raja Permaisuri Agong Tuanku Fauziah Tengku Abdul Rashid in attendance, the celebration featured the songs, music and traditional dances of the Iban, Bidayuh and Orang Ulu communities.
