PULAU REDANG: One of the island's cheapest lodges – the Redang Camp & Chalet in Teluk Kalong – was partially torn down by the land office for illegally occupying government land.
The lodge, a popular resting place with backpackers, is listed in the Lonely Planet travellers’ guide and had been featured on television.
