KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia Airlines is expected to report a net loss of more than RM1bil for the nine months ending December 2005 when it announces its financial results on Monday.
The huge loss is due to high jet fuel prices and low yields on its flights even though most of its fares are comparable with that of rivals Singapore Airlines (SIA) and Cathay Pacific.
