No water tariff hikes until supply improves

PUTRAJAYA: There will be no increase in water tariffs in the Klang Valley until the main water supplier in Selangor and the Federal Territory improves its efficiency and water quality. 

Syarikat Bekalan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Syabas) said under its agreement with the Government, the company has to first meet certain targets before it can request for an increase in water charges.
