PUTRAJAYA: Alert Customs officers at the KL International Airport were instrumental in helping the Immigration Department expose a human trafficking ring which used Malaysia as a transit point.
The officers became suspicious when they noticed that a package, which had just arrived at the cargo section from Mexico on Wednesday, was addressed to a “Korean” woman living in a city condominium, and alerted their immigration counterparts.
