MOTORISTS caught speeding should be fined according to the speed they travel at instead of the fixed maximum amount of RM300, said an assemblyman.
Ayub Jamil (BN-Rengit) said it made no difference to a driver who was caught driving at 130kph or 180kph because the maximum fine was the same.
