KUCHING: Rural electrification scheme (RES) projects were not carried out in Sarawak in the past two years because no contractor had been appointed for the job, said state Public Utilities Minister Datuk Awang Tengah Ali Hasan.
He said funding for the projects was from the Federal Government.
