Society wants Government to take over zoo management

KUALA LUMPUR: Zoo Negara will cease to exist in less than five years if the Government does not take steps to give it the protection and financial support it badly needs. 

Malaysian Zoological Society chairman Datuk Ismail Hutson said there was little doubt that the zoo’s days were numbered unless the Government intervened.
