11 COPS BOOKED: (Nov 17) Eleven traffic policemen from Bukit Aman on patrol duty along the Karak Highway last month were arrested following complaints that they took bribes. The entire patrol unit, headed by a chief inspector, is said to have been “settling cases” during an operation on Oct 6. They were arrested by officers from the Bukit Aman disciplinary unit and have been suspended pending the outcome of investigations, Deputy Internal Security Minister Datuk Noh Omar said.
