KUALA LUMPUR: Plantation workers' salaries should be revised by just 2.8% or no more than two-thirds of the increase in the Consumer Price Index, the Malaysian Agricultural Producers Association (Mapa) said.
Its president, Datuk Dr Mohd Noor Ismail, said the National Union of Plantation Workers' proposals for a 15% revision on rates of pay was excessive.
