KUCHING: The Pepper Marketing Board has identified areas in Lundu and Ulu Layer in Betong Division as ideal for the production of value-added creamy white pepper, said Plantation Industries and Commodities Minister Datuk Peter Chin Fah Kui.
“This new variant could be produced in sloping areas with good soil and plenty of clean water resources,” he said yesterday after his visit to the board’s Pending headquarters.
