IPOH: The Syariah High Court has rejected an application by Felcra Bhd chairman Datuk Hamzah Zainuddin for a stay of execution of a court order to pay a divorce settlement totalling RM11.2mil.
Hamzah, 47, had sought the stay order pending an appeal against the court’s ruling that he must pay his ex-wife, Nooraini Abdul Rashid, 46, cash and assets amounting to that sum.
