KOTA KINABALU: The Election Commission (EC) prefers to conduct the Sabah election and the general election together as it would be more cost-effective.
Speaking at a briefing-cum-dialogue with the media here, its chairman Tan Sri Abdul Rashid Abdul Rahman said: “I do not want to speculate that the state and the general polls will be held simultaneously but there are many parties in the Government talking about having it together.
