KUALA LUMPUR: A suspected Jemaah Islamiah (JI) cell leader who has been eluding the police dragnet since 2002 was captured on Sunday.
The man, in his 40s, was arrested by Pahang police special branch officers who had been on the lookout for several JI members still on the run. According to sources, the man was arrested in Temerloh at about 8am while with his wife.
