DOVER: National marathon swimmer Abdul Malik Mydin's attempt to cross the English Channel is expected to again face delays due to inclement weather.

Heavy clouds, rain and strong winds were expected from West England heading east, causing swells as high as two to five metres in the English Channel, according to British Broadcasting Corporation forecasts at 9pm yesterday (4am Malaysian time).
