ADAM, 22, is one of those caught in the middle of the conflict between the Free Aceh Movement (GAM) and the Indonesian authorities.
“I don’t support GAM but I do not support the Indonesian military action either. I just want us to live in peace,” said the young man who declined to give his full name because he feared reprisals from either side.
