KUALA LUMPUR: The success of 700 Indians who have taken loans from Amanah Ikhtiar Malaysia (AIM) to run small businesses is proof that it is possible to succeed if there is commitment, said MIC president Datuk Seri S. Samy Vellu.
He said the 700, who were involved in a wide range of businesses, including restaurants, vegetable selling, car workshops and pottery production, received loans totalling RM1.13mil.
