KUALA LUMPUR:People who disobey the Health Ministry's quarantine order to contain the Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) from spreading can be penalised for the offence.
This is provided for under the Control and Prevention of Infectious Diseases Act 1988, said Minister Datuk Chua Jui Meng.
