KUALA LUMPUR: War in Iraq will affect fuel prices in the country because the Government will not be able to bear a large subsidy in the event of a price increase in the world's oil market, said Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.
He said although the Government had in place a mechanism to control fuel prices, the prices would increase with a rise in world oil prices.
