PM to be interviewed on NAM

KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Mahathir Mohamad is scheduled to appear on television tonight to speak on this week's Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) summit.  

The programme, Bersama Perdana Mentri, will be shown over RTM1 at 9pm, and Dr Mahathir is expected to talk about the main issues to be discussed at the summit, including the situation in Iraq and the views of NAM members. 

Dr Mahathir may also talk about the preparations for the summit, which will see the participation of all its 114 members.  

The Prime Minister will be interviewed by The Star executive editor Datuk Wong Chun Wai, RTM acting controller of news Monshi Abdullah and Utusan Malaysia news editor Zaini Hassan.
