Three charged with cheating Tabung Haji

KUALA LUMPUR: Two former senior general managers of Tabung Haji were charged in the Sessions Court here yesterday with three counts each of cheating and misappropriating funds totalling some RM400mil from the board three years ago. 

Datuk Mohamad Shafie (left)and Datuk Mohd Amin Sidek,former senior general managers in Tabung Haji,being led to the Sessions Court in Kuala Lumpur yesterday where they pleaded not quilty to six counts of cheating and criminal breach of trust involving RM400mil.In another court,unemployed Ahman Khaironi Ahmad pleaded guilty to 15 counts of cheating,impersonation and forgery involving Tabung Haji funds worth RM4.4mil.
