2020: The year of adjustments


Home cinema trend: The pandemic has cut short our movie watching experience but some believe there will be more exclusive and smaller screenings available in some cinemas in the future.

This was the year of adjustments for many Malaysians as we adapted to living in a pandemic. Everyday routines like going to work in the morning and shaking hands are no longer common practice, and things like carrying a facemask and hand sanitisers wherever we go have become new habits. As we are coming to terms with the new normal, some Malaysians share how they have adjusted parts of their lives in 2020.

Thirty-five-year-old manager Ryan is a big movie fan and always looks forward to going to the cinemas and catching trailers. Over the past year, he has adapted to streaming apps and websites to get his dose of the silver screen.
