Don't Miss It Toyota Dream Car Art Contest (DCAC)

Toyota Dream Car Art Contest (DCAC)

Contest ends:  Feb 8, 2026

  • UMW Toyota Motor (UMWT) is inviting children across Malaysia to imagine, design and bring to life their vision of future mobility – cars that make the world better, safer and more inclusive for everyone – in the Toyota DCAC.
  • Now in its 19th edition, the contest encourages young minds to dream boldly and think creatively, turning imagination into meaningful ideas that could one day drive positive change.
  • Since 2004, the DCAC has inspired nearly 9.4 million children across 144 countries and regions, giving them a platform to share ideas that go beyond transportation – envisioning cars that protect the environment, connect people and drive society forward.
  • The contest will run in Malaysia from now to Feb 8, 2026, with the theme “Your Dream Car”, and is open to three age categories: Group 1 (7 years old and under); Group 2 (8 to 11 years old); and Group 3 (12 to 15 years old).
  • Each age group will recognise five outstanding participants, with Gold, Silver and Bronze awards, plus two consolation prizes.
  • From these, nine Malaysian winners (three per category) will be selected to represent Malaysia at the World Contest in Japan.
  • National winners will be announced in April next year.
  • In this edition, participants are encouraged to explore both hand-drawn and digital artworks, using diverse creative materials, media and techniques. Submissions may be presented on A3-sized paper or submitted in high-resolution digital formats (JPG or PNG).
