Accept SPM results with open heart, says Zahid

KUALA LUMPUR: All candidates of the 2025 Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) examination are advised to accept their results with an open heart, says Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi (pic).

In a post on his official Facebook page, he said the results mark the beginning of a longer journey for every young individual in building their future.

He also advised candidates not to forget the contributions and sacrifices of those around them who have been their backbone throughout their studies.

“Do not forget to express your gratitude to your parents, guardians, family members and teachers who have continuously supported and guided you throughout your journey.

“The success you achieve today is also the result of their prayers and sacrifices,” he said yesterday, Bernama reported.

He also called on SPM graduates to make wise decisions in determining their next steps and invited them to explore Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET).

“Keep moving forward. Choose your path wisely. TVET will always provide opportunities for you to build your future.”

Meanwhile, Education Minister Fadhlina Sidek, in a video, also congratulated all SPM 2025 candidates and described their achievement as the beginning of a broader path towards a brighter future.

“I would also like to take this opportunity to express my highest appreciation and gratitude to all teachers, from primary to secondary schools, who have educated our children with dedication, patience and commitment,” she said in the 43-second video.
