MANY students aspire to obtain a reputable academic qualification from the world’s best universities. But the thought of having to spend so much on exorbitant tuition fees, cost of living and others, such as being away from loved ones for a long time are some of the factors that may impede one’s dream.
At UCSI College – the sister institution of UCSI University, Malaysia's best private university in the 2019 QS World University Rankings, top UK degree programmes are offered to students without compromising on quality and standards. Its fee structures are comparably lower than several British universities based in Malaysia.
Collaborating with several Top 50 UK universities, UCSI College offers the 2+1 UK Degree Transfer Programme and is in the middle of establishing a 3+0 degree programme. These pathways offer students the opportunity to obtain a UK degree in various areas of study without spending extravagantly or being away from home for a long time.
UCSI College president and chief executive officer Assoc Prof Dr Mabel Tan said the UK education provides a wholesome learning experience. She pointed out that lecturers at the college are qualified, experienced, dedicated and equipped to train students to be industry-ready upon graduation.
“The outcome from the UK experience is that each student will be exposed to critical thinking and deep learning,” she said.
Aside from offering the acclaimed UK degree programmes, UCSI College rose to fame over the years by producing top achievers through the Cambridge A-Level programme.
Keith Cheah, who scored 4As in the Cambridge A-Level examination said, “The learning environment at UCSI College allowed me to develop critical thinking skills. The lecturers really went out of their way to help students and their advice got me well prepared for the admission interviews at top British universities.”
