Challenges with waste separation


I WAS recently invited to sit on a panel alongside representatives from Malaysian environmental NGOs and the Solid Waste Management Corporation to discuss whether Malaysians are ready for solid waste separation at source.

This is a hot topic as from Sept 1, households throughout the country, except in Selangor, Penang, Terengganu and Kelantan, will have to separate their waste.
