Plans to develop Bukit Kiara should be discussed with stakeholders first

Flashback

WE welcome the news from Urban Wellbeing, Housing and Local Government Minister Datuk Abdul Rahman Dahlan that RM150mil has been allocated for a five-year project at Bukit Kiara Federal Park (“More parks for the people, says minister” in StarMetro on March 10).

Among others, the money will be spent to turn the park into a recreational arboretum where old rubber trees will be replaced with trees of various species and slope stabilisation work will be undertaken.
