Francissca Peter is one of the performers at the ‘Rocking for a Cause’ concert on Oct 10.

VETERANS and rising stars will share the stage this October for an annual benefit concert dedicated to safeguarding the welfare of Malaysian musical talent.

Titled “Rocking for a Cause,” the fourth edition of the showcase, organised by Musicians for Musicians (MFM), will take place on Oct 10 at Subang National Golf Club in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, from 4pm onwards.

The event highlights the association’s ongoing commitment to supporting both young and veteran performers while honouring the legacy of artistes who shaped the country’s music scene over the decades.

According to a press statement, this year’s concert will pay special tribute to legendary bands and musicians such as The Falcons Malaysia, Sons Of Adam, Olie of Heavy Machine, Freedom, The Strollers and Alleycats.

The concert will feature live performances, tributes and appearances by renowned musicians, making it a special gathering for the music fraternity.

Performers include Electric Orgasm (reuniting after 50 years with Royston), Francissca Peter, Goblokes, Heavy Machine, Datuk Leonard Tan, Lighthouse, Os Pombos, The Polymaths, and The Studio 10 Experience.

Tickets are priced at RM85 per person (MFM members) and RM105 per person, while tables start from RM1,050.
