Property developer Hunza Group has launched its new mobile application H Circle, designed to unite its retail shoppers and residential communities on a single digital platform.

The integrated loyalty programme aims to offer users shared rewards, promotions and services while creating a stronger connection across Hunza Group’s developments.

The four-day launch campaign began at Gurney Paragon Mall, following a car convoy that flagged off from the developer’s Penang International Commercial City (PICC) sales gallery in Bayan Lepas, Penang, on the same day.

Hunza Group executive director Khor Tze Ming said the retail landscape was becoming increasingly competitive as consumers sought greater convenience, access to information and a stronger sense of connection.

“Like any retail ecosystem, loyalty remains increasingly important.

“In a setting like Hunza Group with multiple businesses, integration has always been at the heart of our aspirations.

“Through the H Circle app, we want to continue creating value for our 22,000 users across the various divisions whether in retail, residential or commercial,” she said in her opening speech at the launch.

The app was first introduced to Muze @ PICC and TreeO residents as a smart home companion, allowing them to digitally manage daily building matters.

These features include digital visitor passes, real-time common facility camera feeds, facility bookings and community messaging.

Tze Ming added that the app had since expanded to include the retail segment, allowing shoppers to browse brands at Gurney Paragon Mall, check promotions and events, and track their rewards in real time.

“The name H Circle reflects the identity and heritage of the group, with the ‘H’ representing Hunza while the ‘Circle’ symbolises a sense of belonging and connection among its users,” she said.

The launch programme featured fashion presentations by MLB, Michael Kors and homegrown brand Kapten Batik.

Also present were Pulau Tikus assemblyman Joshua Woo and Hunza Group founder and executive adviser Datuk Seri Khor Teng Tong and other guests.

Woo said H Circle was more than just a loyalty app, describing it as an example of how digital technology was increasingly becoming part of everyday community life.

“The journey between community and retail is, in many ways, the story of H Circle itself – two ends of the same community, now finally brought together under one roof, or one app.

“The initiative is particularly relevant to Pulau Tikus, where established residential neighbourhoods are developing alongside a growing retail and commercial belt.

“When I look at what H Circle represents, I do not just see a loyalty app; I see a reflection of how Pulau Tikus is evolving,” he said.

The campaign featured workshops by MST Golf, fitness challenges by Decathlon, a Jet Kinderland family carnival and station games at the main atrium’s H Circle special zone.

The app’s official mascot, a brown teddy bear named Mr H, also made appearances to the delight of children.

In conjunction with the launch, the first 2,000 new H Circle members received 200 points upon completing their profile registration.

PICC’s residential components, Muze and Senze, were showcased during the event.

The project’s upcoming commercial hub – which will house a new regional mall, global business services (GBS) tower and an international hotel – is expected to break ground towards the end of the year.
