MASCOTS of Sunway  townships, theme parks, healthcare facilities, and retail spaces now have their own animated series.

Gogo & Bebe Wonderland mark a new milestone in the brand’s expansion into family-focused content and entertainment.

Directed and produced by AdAsia, a creative marketing and advertising agency, Gogo & Bebe Wonderland brings Sunway’s iconic mascot characters into their own animated world, reimagined for a new generation through storytelling, original nursery rhymes and edutainment narratives.

Gogo & Bebe Wonderland combines storytelling, music and engaging characters to encourage positive values, creativity and everyday learning through fun and accessible content.

The series will be made available on digital platforms, including YouTube, YouTube Kids and Spotify, making it easily accessible for families across Malaysia.

The official launch event, held at Sunway Pyramid in Petaling Jaya, featured the premiere screening of the first Gogo & Bebe Wonderland episode, an animation showcase, mascot appearances, and interactive activities.

It was attended by National Film Development Corporation Malaysia (Finas) chairman Datuk Hans Isaac, Sunway Group deputy president Evan Cheah and AdAsia head Gordon Ling, alongside members of Sunway’s senior leadership team.

Cheah said, “For many Malaysians, these mascots have long been part of their memories and experiences growing up with Sunway. Through Gogo & Bebe Wonderland, we are proud to see these familiar characters take on a new life through storytelling, music and animation in a way that feels meaningful and relevant for children today.”

“We look forward to seeing families discover and connect with these characters together through a new generation of storytelling,” he added.

The first season of Gogo & Bebe Wonderland will feature 10 episodes comprising original nursery rhymes and storytelling content centred around themes such as numbers, colours, shapes, kindness and everyday experiences.

Ling said, “Gogo & Bebe Wonderland began with a simple creative idea – to take characters that many Malaysians already recognise and reimagine them in a way that feels fresh, relatable and meaningful for today’s children.

“From developing each character’s personality and visual identity to composing original nursery rhymes and shaping the storytelling direction of the series, every part of the creative process was carefully crafted to build a world that children can connect with and enjoy.

“We wanted to produce something that feels entertaining, emotionally warm and distinctly Malaysian while still having the potential to resonate with audiences beyond Malaysia over time.”

Gogo & Bebe Wonderland is envisioned as an evolving content franchise, with new nursery rhyme episodes set to launch monthly beginning this month, followed by dialogue-driven episodes later in the year. Season 2 is in development for next year.

Sunway has also introduced a line of collectable plush toys inspired by its mascot characters, available at Sunway Lagoon Mart outlets, Sunway Multicare Pharmacy and Sunway Cities.

Also present at the launch were Sunway Group chief brand strategy officer Nik Tasha Nik Kamaruddin, Sunway Medical Centre chief executive officer Dr Seow Vei Ken, Sunway Education Group chief of student life and services Lee Siok Ping, Sunway Theme Parks chief executive officer Calvin Ho, Sunway Group senior advisor to chairman’s office Tan Sri Razman Md Hashim, Sunway Group senior managing director to chairman’s office Datuk KL Tan, Sunway Malls chief executive officer for Selangor region Jason Chin, Sunway Education Group chief executive officer Prof Datuk Dr Elizabeth Lee and Sunway Multicare Pharmacy chief executive officer Lang Leong Cheng.
