Joyful ‘iftar’ with neighbours

AROUND 350 residents of The Mulia Residences came together for an iftar gathering that fostered a strong sense of community.

It followed the success of a similar event held in the Cyberjaya neighbourhood last year.

Organising committee chairperson Nor Effendi Nordin said it was heartwarming to see everyone enjoying the buka puasa together.

“There was a higher turnout this year, which is very encouraging in maintaining unity and neighbourliness.

“All preparations, including food and logistics, were contributed by the residents.”

Nor Effendi said there was also a religious talk for the Muslims and other people-oriented programmes organised in the spirit of gotong-royong.
