One-off RM200 aid for Johor tertiary students

Students in Johor pursuing higher education can apply for a one-off incentive to ease their financial burdens.

State education and information committee chairman Aznan Tamin (pic) said students have until tomorrow to apply for the RM200 aid under Mahasiswa Anak Johor 2026.

“The assistance is available to Johor-born students as well as those who have a permanent address in Johor as stated in their MyKad.

“There is no household income requirement for this incentive and it is open to students from all semesters of study.”

Aznan said the one-off aid was available to students pursuing certificate, foundation, matriculation, diploma and bachelor’s degree programmes.

Eligible applicants, he said, included those studying at public higher education institutions, private institutions under Johor government, private universities recognised by Malaysian Qualifications Agency, and matriculation colleges.

“The initiative reflects the state government’s commitment to supporting Johor students and helping ease their financial commitments,” he added.

The required documents are the student’s MyKad, student card and offer letter for their course.
