RESIDENSI Sutera Vista, which includes 74 units under Rumah Selangorku (RSKu), is set to enhance the 64.7ha Taman Sutera township in Kajang.

The project comprises two 19-storey residential blocks on 1.6ha, with completion expected by 2028.

A total of 378 units, ranging from 83.6sq m to 92.9sq m, will be offered with prices starting from RM398,000, as reported by Bernama.

“Work on the site has started,” said MTD Properties group chief operating officer Dr Nik Fauzan Nik Faizul after the project’s groundbreaking ceremony.

Demand for the RSKu units had exceeded supply, he said, adding: “With a price below RM500,000, it is considered affordable for a mature area.”

MTD Reime group chief executive officer Rizal Abdul Aziz said the developer was proud to support the state’s affordable housing goals.

Selangor housing and culture committee chairman Datuk Borhan Aman Shah said the project was among contributors to the RSKu 3.0 programme, which targets 200,000 affordable homes by 2029.

“So far, there are almost 80,000 units,” he said, adding that the state welcomed other developers to pursue affordable housing projects in both urban and rural areas.

Also present at the event were Kajang Municipal Council president Nazli Md Taib and Selangor Housing and Property Board (LPHS) deputy executive director Mohd Hafiz Hassan.
